About
I am a proud member of the Issaquah High School community and am looking forward to a great year.
My background includes earning a B.A. in History and Anthropology from Drew University in Madison, NJ, and two M.A.'s from the University of Albany in History and Education. I earned my National Board Certification in Social Studies in 2012. This year will be my 22nd year in the classroom (I guess I'm old now) and in that time I have taught a wide variety of courses. This year my life is AP Euro everyday, all day. I am looking forward to putting all my energy into this course to make it as interesting and enjoyable as possible. I am originally from upstate New York, but have been a happy NW resident since 1996. In my free time I like to read history, garden and study the many wonderful birds of the Northwest. This summer's birds included the Tufted Puffin, the Greater Shearwater, a Bullock's Oriole and so many more! |
